Well, we've finally closed on the new place and moved out of the old place. It took longer than I had hoped but it feels good to be finished. There is a lot of work to do on the new place, as you will see from the pictures below, but nothing we can't tackle. Our new place is a cute, little Cape Cod build in 1954. The following pictures are from the real estate listing. I'll post more accurate ones soon to show some progress on our end.
There weren't any shots of the two bedrooms on the first floor though they will eventually be combined to make one master since one of them is really too small to be a bedroom. Lots of plans for each room. We've actually already started with a closet refresh (not really enough to be a remodel) and pulling up some of the carpet which luckily revealed hardwood floors that are in surprisingly good condition. The best thing about our house? Just sh*tty enough to make it fun to remodel but not so sh*tty that we feel like we're in that movie
The Money Pit. Win.
